The Night Reflection in the lake...
it shows what you are to the world...
Neon, a cat; always shuned by everyone else, decided to go and see what he was to the world.
when he reached the lake, he bent over on the edge, and once the night covored the light, the lake began to shine.
but he saw nothing.
why was the lake shining to his presance, yet not showing him what he is to the world?
or what he will be?
instead he questioned the lake, in voice, he said, "Why?
Why must you show everyone else their fate, but not mine?
Are you just teasing me?
Are you just making me yearn to know?
Are you leaving my fate buried to everyone, but yourself?
Are you ignoring that I'm here and just shining as an attempt to blind me?
Are you just messing with everyone with this legend of yours?
Are you just playing with everyone who sees you?
Or is something ELSE going on..?"
Unlike what the legend spoke, the lake did not just stay there; it spoke in return.
"You are what I show you."
"All I see is light from your waters." Neon spoke back.
"Ah; but there's what you are."
"I do not understand your reason, reflection of the night..."
"Oh, but its rather tricky for even a protogy child like yourself won't understand..."
"Then what am I? Nothing?"
"Absolutly not; everyone has a purpose."
"Then what is it then?" He yelled into the lake.
"You are nothing to the world..."
"Then I have no purpose."
"But you are an angel to heaven."
Neon was stunned at what the lake spoke. For a little child like him to be destined to be something that huge...It was unheard of...But Neon took it with respect.
"Now go; child. Leave these waters to peace. Come back someday when you are wounded and about to perish. I will heal you, and give you your new destiny."
Neon nodded, and walked away from the lake, knowing someday he would return....
